How Do We Build Retaining Walls and What is the Average Cost?
Every retaining wall is different, and they have to be, depending on the location, grounds, and so forth. We typically trench, compact, apply a crushed stone base, and set the first course correctly the first time. So much of the project depends on the foundation, it's important that we get this part right. We have professional tools that help us dig, trench, and even setup proper water drainage in order to ensure your retaining wall is built to last. As far as cost goes, we've completed projects for as low as $4,000 but also upwards of $12,000. Price depends mostly on the type of stone or materials needed as well as the overall size of the retaining wall and whether or not drainage is needed.
